Hello everyone, here I am already dreaming of Summer and wanted to share my latest completed project using the gorgeous collection Sunny Days from Maggie Holmes.
I must say that I am absolutely obsessed with every collection from her, but this one especially as I live in Florida and we get extra time to enjoy gorgeous sunny days.
To document my Summer adventures from this year I created this cute mini album. The album completed measures 5 1/4″ by 7 1/4″ and it is made out of chipboard.
I used a combination of papers to create my inside pages. I really love all the different shade of blues that remind me so much of the sea.
But of course the florals on this collection are to die for! I had so much fun mixing and matching all the patterns from the papers.
For this project I used the 12 x 12 paper pad and the sticker sheet to decorate all my pages.
One of my favorites papers was the one with the big letters that I cut to create big tittle for my pages.
But of course I cannot resist and fuzzy cut all the butterflies and flowers too!
I wanted the album to have lots of interactive features: pockets, flaps, hidden journaling spots.
Each page has plenty of room for your Summer pictures.
I love how each page is so different from the other.
I also used the ephemera pack from the collection, they had black and white images that complemented so well the rest of the vibrant colors of the papers.
I also made extra photo mats to add pictures into the pockets of the album.
I am so ready to document my Summer adventures this year!
Thank you so much for reading, see you soon with more projects!
