Hello and Happy Holidays, I want to share with you a Christmas project made with the Winter Wonderland collection from Graphic 45. This collection is just so pretty, simple with its Scandinavian influences that it has become one of my favorite Graphic 45 Christmas collections. I wanted to create a folder with the same design I used for my Summer project ( DIY Folio Tutorial ) but this time with a Christmas theme.
For this folio I used as a base a cereal box (I explain the whole process how to make one on the tutorial post) and used a combination of papers from the collection to create lots of flaps and pockets to have plenty of room for my Christmas photos.
For the cover I did a simple design, as I like to store my folios standing up in a basket. But I wanted it to look like a Christmas present, so I added a festive red bow and golden bells to the the flap.
I used a die to add texture to the black cover and gold wax to accentuate it.
For the inside pages I followed the same design of the Summer folio, I love how different it looks with the papers from this collection.
I did not have all the papers from the collection to work with, so I used coordinating cardstock to make pockets and photomats. I added fuzzy cut images and dies to make them match.
As you know I love altering Graphic 45 tags. For this project I used two as closure to my main side of the project.
The tags are just so much fun to make. I used fuzzy cut images and chipboard to create dimension.
I really love how festive this project looks.
