Happy Holidays to you all! I can not believe December is just a few days away and that we are in the beginning of the busy holiday season. I wanted to start this holiday crafty season with a project that was super easy to make but really fun: An envelope mini album using Christmas papers from Graphic 45.
This project was completed in just a couple hours and using very simple steps.
First step is to pick the desired papers for your project. You can use any collection, or you can mix and match collections. For this project I used papers from the Christmas Magic collection (Patterns & solids paper pad).
I used the 1-2-3 envelope Punch from We R Memory Keepers to make my envelopes. If you do not have the punch you can trace and cut any envelope you have or you can use already made envelopes to make your album.
2. Cut your papers depending the desired size of your album. Following the instructions I trimmed my papers to 10 1/2″ x 10 1/2″ to make envelopes 5 1/2 ” x 7 1/2 ” size.
Step three attach the flaps of each envelope into the opening of the other to create your book.
Attach as many envelopes as you would like and the use the last flap as binding for you book.
And just as simple as that you have a completed book. Then comes the fun part decorate your pages.
I made photo mats that will fit on the open side of the envelope and decorated the flat envelope page with stickers from the Christmas Magic collection.
I used minimal decorations as I want my photos to be the star of the album.
I hope that you guys like this simple project. I will see you soon with more projects.
