Back to school with Graphic 45

Summer is starting to wind down and it is time to start thinking about back to school. Today I wanted to share with you two little projects using the ABC primer collection from Graphic 45: A 4×6 photo frame and a note holder.¬† I created these projects as a gift for my daughter, that this year will be a second grade teacher. I wanted to show her my appreciation for the hard work she does every single day.

For these projects I used black chipboard and cardstock as my base, then used one sheet of paper from the collection to embellish.

Lets start with the note holder, I wanted to create something that our teacher can use to take notes on the go.

The note holder measures 6 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ and is perfect to hold small paper pads¬† or index cards.

I used one the images from one of the papers to make a side pocket to add more storage.

The second project is a 4″ x 6″ frame made out of chipboard and can be use to store a class photo.

Both projects are not only functional, but make great desk decorations.

I am also gonna add to my gift a set of the coolest color pencils that I have ever seen and a pencil holder. I am hoping that my favorite teacher likes her gift!

I hope that this inspire you to create something for your favorite teacher.

Thank you so much for reading, see you soon with more projects.
